Do you have more bad teeth than good ones? Are you missing several, or even most, of your teeth? Have you ever been unable to eat your favorite foods, or too embarrassed to smile? Full mouth dental implants may be the miracle you’ve been wishing for! At Teeth4You Implant Center, we’re experts in providing full arch dental implants. We’ll be able to provide you with a new, temporary bridge of teeth… in just one day. Starting on the day after your procedure, you’ll be able to smile, eat and laugh confidently once again!
Removable dentures are a common first choice for people who have lost a full arch of teeth, but these often cause more problems than they solve. Dentures allow for the recession of the jawbone, meaning that your jaw will change shape as you wear dentures. This leads to your dentures not fitting properly, which means more food and drinks get stuck under them. Dentures also cover the entire roof of your mouth, reducing your sense of taste, and the creams and adhesives used to keep them in place can be messy and difficult to work with. Also, since they only restore about 60% of your original biting and chewing capacity, you’ll still have a limited diet after getting dentures.
Full mouth dental implants, on the other hand, are built to last decades. They stay perfectly in place, eliminating gum irritation and allowing you to take care of them as if they were your natural teeth. Because they are attached directly to your jawbone, they preserve not only the bone density of your jaw, but also the shape of your face. They are designed to function – and feel – just like your natural teeth, but to take full advantage of this technological wonder, it’s critical to find an implant dentist who is experienced with full mouth dental implants, as not all dentists are qualified to install them.
Full arch dental implants are the highest standard of tooth replacement. Unlike dentures, the Prettau® Zirconia bridges we offer can last a lifetime, and they restore up to 99% of your original biting and chewing power.
The first step in our process is a personalized consultation with our implant dentists. We’ll discuss your goals and take detailed digital scans of your mouth and jaw. This helps us figure out exactly what your needs are, and customize your surgical plan. If you’re a good candidate for dental implants, we’ll schedule your dental implant surgery.
This is the most intensive part of the process of getting dental implants, but in the hands of our experienced implant dentists, your time in the chair will fly by! Among other sedation options, we offer IV sedation for dental implant surgery, so you may not feel anything at all (though you will definitely need someone to drive you home). We also offer nitrous oxide, if you prefer. No matter what sedation option you choose, our implant dentists will extract any remaining teeth, perform any necessary bone grafts, and place the titanium posts that will attach your new implants to your mouth. The next day, you’ll get a set of provisional teeth made from polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) that will temporarily restore your smile.
Your body will need four to six months to fully heal from your dental implant surgery. After this time has passed, you’ll come back to us to have your final zirconia restoration installed. This restoration is custom-made for you, and not only will it match the color of any remaining natural teeth, it will be designed to complement your skin tone and lips, as well. This zirconia restoration is the strongest material in implant dentistry, and once it’s installed, you’ll immediately be able to eat an unlimited diet and smile your best smiles.
While dental implants are the “gold standard” solution to improve the quality of your smile and your life, they do come with a higher price tag than traditional dentures. This is why we partner with many leading dental insurance companies and provide third-party financing through multiple partners. You deserve the peace of mind that comes with permanently replacing your missing and failing teeth!
